Studying at YWAM Ships

Who Am I?

I'm Josh Teerling and I’m participating in a course called “School Of Navigation and Seamanship”. This school is focused on training up people to work on board the vessels of YWAM, enabling them to continue the work that they’re doing.

My 3 months of training will involve basic sailing theory and deck work, to more intensive training including chart work, tidal theory, meteorology, and passage planning.

Upon completing the training, I will be looking to serve on one of the YWAM vessels wherever the work is most needed.
